Make Greeting Cards
with Scanography
Looking for easy to make greeting cards? Don't consider yourself very "crafty"? Purchase blank cards with a place to insert a photo. Slide in your favorite scanography and send it on its way.
Blank cards with space for insets, usually come in sets which include the envelope. The outcome is so professional looking, when I sent out the first few, my friends thought they were purchased. Now I make a note "photo by me!"
Your cards will compete with those sold in museum shops and at art festivals!
If you're an avid greeting card creator who makes your cards and envelopes with special papers and trim, the outcome will be even more impressive and personal!
Cards as Gifts
Bundle several of your "scanography" greeting cards together with clear plastic wrap. Tie them with a piece of string or colorful ribbon and give them as gifts. Friends will be delighted. They'll also wonder how you became such a good photographer!
The simplest of scanner photos look fantastic when they are framed by the border of a ready-made card.

Christmas Card Photos
Many things say happy holidays!
Making Christmas cards unique is easy. Instead of another picture of yourself or the kids, use scanner photos of ornaments, springs of pine, holly, or almost anything red. . . maybe a red rose.
Surprise everyone, include your personal photos as an enclosure instead of the 'front page' next year.
