New Easy Art
New easy art with your computer scanner is great for all kinds of projects. The computer scanner images on this page are some of my very early scanography. I had no experience and did not use Photoshop.
Monstera deliciosa is an exotic, large tropical flower.
When I saw the plant in bloom by my fence, I wondered if it would even fit on my scanner glass. It did, but just barely.
To see what would happen, I placed a red velvet piece of fabric over it.
As a complete novice, I hoped it would work, but wasn't sure.
Imagine my surprise with the outcome!
You may have seen this elsewhere on my site (it's one of my favorites).
The only touch up I did was with Paint (a program which comes with most computers). I used it to eliminate some dust spots.
By repositioning the bloom on the scanner glass, I was able to scan different angles.
This is the same flower with a little cropping and without the red background.
It's an entirely different look. Not all scanography is easy art. This one was.
Photo scanner artists often spend hours (if not days) composing their work.
Professional Scanographers
is a list of some of my favorites and links to their work. Don't miss it!
Because the following scans required little or no arranging, they took very little time. Framed, who would know it was a do-it-yourself project?

I call this one 'Coolie Hat'. It's really a toadstool from the yard!

Colorful fruit and vegetables make great scanner art photos.

Frame these Crayons and they're perfect for a kid's room.

Use scanner photography for
scrapbooking
and another great use is
making greeting cards!
If you're a black and white photography fan, this is only one of the photo scanner fun pictures on the
Black and White pictures page.
