Painting on Scanner

Painting on Scanner

I use the scanner painting directly onto the surface of scannerīs glass.

The images that are obtained with this technique are of a quality of details far superior to photography, through the scan of liquids can be seen as the paintings are merged with one another, creating unique textures.
The materials that I use to create my scannographys are very diverse, like acrylic paintings, oil paintings, gouaches, pens, colored wax, collages of paper, juices, food, textiles, etc.
I have been experiencing recently conducted scans of paper burned mixed with paint.

In the last three years, I have obtained hundreds of images of a strange and disturbing beauty ... getting of the scan some creative possibilities for art.

As almost always happens with the use of any means, just get creative to get results with the scanner, apart from their more conventional utility. And the creative possibilities of obtaining such images are as extensive as various techniques that can join the very act of scanning.
