Name that wildflower...

I thought may like to know that the name of this Roadside Weed is St. John's Wort.. the very one famous now as an antidepressant. Lesser known to the general public is its topical use for pain.

It's a gorgeous scan. It looks almost like a daguerrotype.

I have to confess I did some editing in Photoshop on this one. I achieved the soft colors by bumping down the saturation a bit. : )
